Membantu Org Nazak

MESTI BELAJAR/KERANA KITA AKAN MENGHADAPI KEMATIAN..

Assalammualaikum,
Pada hari Sabtu lepas Surau Darussaadah di Keramat Permai telah mengadakan ceramah umum mengenai Isra' Mikraj oleh Ustaz Abdullah Mahmud. Berikut adalah sedikit sebanyak intipati ceramah yang Ingin saya kongsi bersama rakan2 sekalian:-

Menurut Ustaz, masyarakat Melayu telah lama buat salah dalam 'membantu' seseorang mengahdapi sakaratul maut. Menjadi kebiasaan, kita akan mengelilingi orang yang tengah nazak dengan masing2 membaca surah Yasin, dengan bacaan yang tersendiri dan bermacam2 ragam (setengah dengan tartil, setengah bacaan laju). Perbuatan sebegini akan menjadikan orang yang tengah nazak merasa lebih kelam kabut (kerana menurut ustaz sebelum datangnya kematian, kita 'disibukkan' dengan segala gambaran perbuatan kita di dunia). Kaedah yang sepatutnya diamalkan ialah:-

i. Lantik seorang yang bacaan Alquran nya baik (dari segi tajwid) untuk membaca surah Yasin- yang lain2 bole bersama2 semak.

ii. Sebaik2 orang yang dilantik itu adalah anak ataupun saudara terdekat yang mempunyai perasaan kasih pada orang yang tengah nazak.

iii. Merenung wajah orang tengah nazak sebelum surah Yasin dibaca untuk menimbulkan rasa belas kasihan dan mudah2an surah yang dibaca boleh membantu pencabutan nyawa beliau.

iv. Membaca 3 hingga 4 kalimah Surah Yasin, berhenti, dan menolong (menuntun) beliau untuk melafaz "Laa ila ha illallah".

v. Kemudian menyambung semula bacaan, baca 3 hingga 4 kalimah, berhenti lagi, dan menolong beliau mengucap "Laa ila ha illallah"lagi.

vi. Diteruskan sehingga lah beliau menghembuskan nafas yang terakhir.

Semoga ini dapat meningkatkan lagi ilmu pengetahuan kita dalam 'membantu' saudara mara atau mak ayah kita dalam menghadapi sakaratul maut.Dan smoga kita mendapat segala rahmat serta hidayah NYA dlm
membuat amal kebajikan dengan cara yang betul
bukan semata2 melalui ikutan adat.

Menukarkan Dokumen Kepada pdf

Untuk menukarkan dokumen kepada jenis pdf, kini tidak lagi memerlukan perisian yang khas. Ia boleh dilakukan secara online. Anda hanya perlu ke laman web pdfonline.com. Dalam laman web ini juga anda boleh menukarkan dari dokumen pdf kepada dokumen word. (*.doc). Selepas dokumen anda ditukarkan kepada format yang anda inginkan, dokumen ini akan dihantarkan kepada anda melalui emel.

Kursus MTCP 2008

Berjumpa lagi tuan-tuan,

Hampir lebih sebulan saya tidak menulis di blog kerana sibuk mengendalikan kursus MTCT - Certicficate in Cooperative Desktop Publishing dari 9 Jun hingga 5 Julai 2008.  Baru hari ini segalanya selesai.  Kursus ini telah dihadiri oleh seramai 23 orang peserta dari 18 negara.  Mereka dari negara Bhutan, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Jordan, Myanmar, Filipina, Sri Lanka, Tonga, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Nepal, Vanuatu, Kyrgyz, Laos, Vietnam dan Malaysia.  Selain dari pembelajaran dalam kelas mereka juga didedahkan dengan beberapa lawatan sambil belajar.

Minggu depan saya akan mengajar kelas Asas Komputer selama 5 hari,  insyaallah selepas minggu depan barulah saya free untuk menulis lagi dan berkongsi maklumat dengan tuan-tuan.

Tips on Public Speaking

Here are some important public speaking tips to help you develop your skills and become far more effective as a public speaker

• Ensure your speech will be captivating to your audience as well as worth their time and attention. Videotape your presentation and analyze it. Emphasize your strong points during your presentation.
  

• Present the desired image to your audience. Be solemn if your topic is serious. Appear relaxed, even if you feel nervous. Remember, you don't look as nervous as you feel.
  

• Establish rapport with your audience. If a microphone is available, adjust and adapt your voice accordingly.
  

• Maintain sincere eye contact with your audience. If what you have prepared is obviously not getting across to your audience, change your strategy mid-stream if you are well prepared to do so.
  

• Allow yourself and your audience a little time to reflect and think.
  

• Check out the location ahead of time to ensure seating arrangements for audience, whiteboard, blackboard, lighting, location of projection screen, sound system, etc. are suitable for your presentation.
  

• Tell audience ahead of time that you will be giving out an outline of your presentation so that they will not waste time taking unnecessary notes during your presentation.
  

• Humour : Tell jokes if you're good at telling jokes. If you aren't good, it is best to leave the jokes behind. There's nothing worse than a punch line that has no punch.
  

• Tell stories : Stories make you a real person not just a deliverer of information. Use personal experiences to bring your material to life. No matter how dry your material is, you can always find a way to humanise it. Keep audience interested throughout your entire presentation. Remember that an interesting speech makes time fly, but a boring speech is always too long to endure even if the presentation time is the same.
  

• Using Public Speaking Environment - Try not to get stuck in one place. Use all the space that's available to you. If your space is confined (say a meeting room or even presenting at a table) use stronger body language to convey your message.
  

• Mistakes - Mistakes are all right. Recovering from mistakes makes you appear more human. Good recovery puts your audience at ease - they identify with you more.

The Apple Tree

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it ev­eryday. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap in its shadow.
He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by and the little boy had grown up and no longer played around the tree every day.
One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. "Come and play with me", the tree asked the boy. "I am no longer a kid and I don't play around trees any more," the boy replied. "I want toys.
I need money to buy them." "Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. Then, you will have money." The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily.The boy never came back after he picked the apples and the tree felt sad.

One day, many years later, the boy who had now turned into a man returned. The tree was excited and said, "Come and play with me." The boy replied, "I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family and we need a house for shelter. Can you help me?"
"Sorry, I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house". So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.
One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. "Come and play with me!" the tree said. "I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?" said the man. "Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy." So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.
Finally, the man returned after many years. "Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you", the tree said. "No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite," the man replied. "No more trunk for you to climb on". "I am too old for that now," the man said. "I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots," the tree said with tears

"I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years," the man replied. "Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest." The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.
Now, replace the tree in the story with parents. When we are young, we love to play with our Mum and Dad; but when we grow up, we leave them, only to come to them whenever we need support – material or emotional, or when we are in trouble. And no matter what, our parents always are there by our side and give us everything they can just to make us happy. Always, we take them fo granted and don"t appreciate all they do for us, until it"s too late.


It's the same with our divine parent too. Whenever we are beset with problems, we cry out to Him for help, how many times do we think of Him when everything is going pleasant and beautiful in our lives?
